Friday Musings

A visitor from Holland was chatting with his American friend and was jokingly explaining about the red, white and blue in the Netherlands flag. "Our flag symbolizes our taxes," he said. "We get red when we talk about them, white when we get our tax bill, and blue after we pay them." "The same with us," the American said, "only we see stars, too."

A fine is a tax for doing wrong. A tax is a fine for doing well.

Taxation WITH representation ain't so hot either!

When I die have my body cremated, put the ashes in an envelope and mail it to the IRS with a note: "Now you have everything!"

Can vegetarians eat animal crackers?

April 17 is National Cheeseball Day & Blah, Blah, Blah Day

April 19 is Garlic Day & Husband Appreciation Day (Isn't that a curious combination?)

Knotts-Berry Farm and the National Organization of Women will join forces and become: Knott NOW!

I'd better quit now, I've already told you more than I know!
