Pushing back the frontiers of ignorance........

Spent Wednesday afternoon on a tour of the White House in DC due to a friend who works for one of the Senators.  You can almost feel the history in the air!  The Christmas decorations and the interiors of the building are beautiful but the pamphlet, signed by GW and Laura mentioned only the "holiday season" - not one word of Christmas.

If any of you are planning to go to DC anytime and want to visit the White House, contact your Senator's office and ask for a pass.  You must do this in advance.  One word - due to the fine folks in the "peaceful religion" you cannot take a camera, purse or anything else along.  One cell phone and a picture ID is all!
